Crypto Only — questions and answers

What is the daily cap limit?

The most your account may move in a single day, in either direction. It is measured against the previous day's equity and resets at 5 PM EST. Move more than 3% of your starting balance either way and your open positions are closed, pending orders are cancelled, and trading is disabled until the new day begins.

How the band is set

On a $100,000 account with a 3% cap, if the day ends with equity at $101,000, the next day's limits are $101,000 ± $3,000 — so you can trade between $98,000 and $104,000.

The cap applies to gains as well as losses?

Yes. A day that goes too well locks the account exactly as a day that goes too badly does. Trading resumes at 5 PM EST, or sooner if the account moves back inside the current day's band.

How is the maximum drawdown calculated?

It is equity-based and static. The level is set once from your starting balance and never moves, however high the account goes.

One Step — 6%

On $100,000 you can draw down to $94,000. Take the account to $102,000 in closed balance and the level is still $94,000.

Two Step — 9%

On $100,000 you can draw down to $91,000, and that figure does not move either.

What counts as a breach?

Violating the max drawdown rule, or leaving the account inactive for 30 consecutive days. A breach fails the assessment, or takes away the funded account.

What is Payout Protector?

An optional add-on chosen at the time of purchase, costing 25% of the plan price. If you hard-breach a funded account that is in profit, you still receive your share of those gains instead of forfeiting them.

What it is worth

On a $100,000 funded account with $8,000 of gains at the moment of a breach: without Payout Protector the account closes and the $8,000 is forfeited. With it, the account still closes — but you receive your share of the $8,000.

Does Payout Protector stop my account breaching?

No. The account is still breached if a rule is violated, and no risk parameter changes. It only protects gains already made from being forfeited.

What leverage is available?

5:1 on BTC and ETH. 2:1 on every other cryptocurrency listed on the platform.

Are commissions charged?

Yes. Cryptocurrency trading carries a percentage-based commission of 0.05% of total notional trade volume, charged per side — the USD amount multiplied by 0.0005.

Which platform will I trade on?

DXtrade, with TradingView charts. Twenty-six cryptocurrency products are available.

Can I use automated strategies?

No. DXtrade does not support Expert Advisors or other automated strategies.

Can I hold positions over the weekend?

Yes.

Can I trade during news events?

No. Opening a position within three minutes before or after a news event is prohibited. A position opened during one may be closed with its profit and loss removed, your leverage may be reduced, or the account may be breached.

How do withdrawals work?

You can request your first withdrawal at any time, and afterwards once every 30 days. Requesting one does not reset your drawdown level.

Withdrawing does not buy you room

Take a $100,000 account to $120,000 and withdraw $16,000 on a 90/10 split: you receive $14,400, the firm retains $1,600, and the balance falls to $104,000. On the Two Step plan the drawdown level stays at $91,000 — so you have $13,000 of room, not a fresh 9%.

How long does it take to get the funded account?

After you pass, you will be asked to complete Know Your Customer verification and sign the Trader Agreement. Once both are done the funded account is normally created and issued within 24 to 48 business hours.

Which countries are accepted?

Subject to applicable law, traders from all countries except those on the OFAC list, unless otherwise limited at the company's discretion.

How old do I have to be?

At least 18, or the minimum legal age in your country if that is higher.

Can I use my own trading account?

No. Risk-management software is synced to the accounts we create, so performance and rule violations can be assessed in real time. You must use the account provided to you.

Where do I track my progress?

In the trader dashboard you receive on purchase. Monitoring your own breach levels is your responsibility.

How is tax handled?

You trade as an independent contractor, so you are responsible for any and all taxes on your gains.

The capital is ready. The rest is on you.
